be prepared to work
The grinder is well made and makes excellent finely ground coffee, but it does take quite a while to grind enough for one or two cups. Beyond that, get an electric grinder or be prepared for about 10 minutes of grinding per cup.

Great little Hand Grinder
Bought this for my wife that drinks 1 mug of coffee a day. (I don't drink coffee)

Couldn't be happier. She uses it to grind her beans to course setting for a fresh french pressed coffee every morning (she has a Frieling Ultimo French 22 oz. press)

Only thing we didn't like is the fact that ALL the instructions are in Chinese. So it will take you a while to figure out settings, but not too long

This little hand grinder is a blast to grind with. And I think it will last.

Great portable coffee burr grinder~
I got this to take on car camping trips to make fresh ground coffee and not sacrifice taste. The "mini mill" has a nice consistent grind for my GSI french press and takes less than 1/2 time the water takes to boil to grind enough for two 12 oz cups. I think I'll put my blade grinder away and start using the Hario for home too.

Just what I wanted
I'm a grind-as-you-go kind of person as well, and find this grinder to be perfect for my needs. It's space saving, which is great as I have only a small space for kitchen gadget storage. capacity is more than ample for my daily use; I only make it for two people, tops, and what the gauge calls "1" is enough for two double shots of espresso. Mine was set for finest grind out of the box, which works perfectly in my machine. Grind time for a double shot is about four mins. I use it for my 3-cup french press as well- for that it's just a couple of minutes for a full pot. Seems pretty impact-resistant as well. Recommended.

As advertised
Nice little grinder that I just used it to make two cups this morning. Grind size is adjustable with the knob on the bottom, though the last 10% of grinds to come through seem to be larger than the first 90%. No biggie, my coffee was still fantastic. Most importantly, the secure design definitely makes my women less fatigue, which was why I bought it in the first place.
